Community Moonwalk for our Moon’s Mission

Sunshine Coasties!! Join Coolum’s Moonwalk for local charity Our Moon’s Mission!

This community event is dedicated to raising awareness and funds to cure the rare neurodegenerative disease SPG56 affecting Coolum’s five-year-old Tallulah Moon and kids like her.

Event Highlights:
• Full Moon Walk: Experience the beauty of a wheelchair accessible moonlit walk from Tickle Park to Point Arkwright with your Sunny Coast Community. Gather at 4.30pm for a 5pm walk.
• Circadian Rhythms Drumming Circle: Join us at Tickle Park from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM for an evening of rhythm and community spirit under the full moon. Enjoy a picnic dinner from local eateries and restaurants.

This year’s moonwalk magically coincides with the 56th anniversary of the historic moon landing on July 21, 1969. Just as humanity achieved the extraordinary feat of landing on the moon (SPG) 56 years ago (!) we are determined to conquer and cure SPG56. The science is there but the funds are not!

The Moonwalk will bring together friends, families, and community all over the globe, in small pockets for an evening walk under the full moon.
